New Moontrader Release - Version 18199

In this release, we've improved Moontrader on every level: we've added new features and an additional data source, improved market data storage and algorithms, and redesigned the interface. The terminal is now faster and provides clearer, more comprehensive data.

Market Live - is Moontrader’s internal system that processes exchange data and calculates price deltas over different timeframes for precise algorithmic trading. It also displays active algorithms and user orders across various markets.

What’s new?

By changing the data source for Market Live, we have increased the speed and accuracy of market analysis, providing up to four data updates each second. In addition to the existing functionality, this tool now displays trading volumes for different time intervals. This data is taken directly from the exchange's candlestick data (K-line), which was not the case with the old source.

New data source benefits:

• Switch to candlestick close price: All calculations are now based on the candlestick close price, enhancing analysis accuracy.
• New metrics in CSV reports: Added new analytical parameters such as average price, relative and absolute delta, average BAV (Base Asset Volume), and QAV (Quote Asset Volume) for timeframes from 1 second to 24 hours. Trading performance data can now be exported to CSV.
• Optimized calculations: Metrics for timeframes up to 5 minutes are calculated on a per-second basis, while timeframes from 5 minutes to 24 hours use minute-based candlestick data.
• Triggers and Market Watcher updates:

1.      Added QAV (Quote Asset Volume) signals, allowing traders to analyse liquidity based on volumes for better decision-making.

2.      The Market Watcher trigger filter now differentiates between signal sources – price or QAV – for more precise automatic strategies.

3.      Optimized Market Watcher performance and introduced algorithm profiling, improving efficiency.

Important: By default, a tick-based data source is used. To switch to candlestick data, go to Settings → Core → and select the new data source for Market Live.

With more data for accurate decision-making and greater flexibility in data processing, traders can respond more quickly to market changes and adapt their strategies. These updates lay the foundation for future enhancements and new terminal tools.

With the latest Moontrader update, monitoring key price levels has become even easier. Alerts are a useful tool for manual trading, allowing traders to set levels directly on price charts and receive notifications when they are reached.

What’s important to know:

• Traders can set Alerts by drawing markers directly on the chart.
• Alerts are linked to Triggers. Users can create Triggers and Automated Actions based on alerts in line with their strategies.
• Alerts are sent within the terminal and via the integrated Telegram Bot Client.
• New Alerts tab on the main screen for easy control and analysis.

We have created and launched a dedicated server to store the cryptocurrency market history archive since June 2024. Now, historical data is loaded instantly and without gaps, ensuring more reliable analysis. The new server eliminates the need to use local resources for data storage and the necessity of personal server setup to access market history. More data, more control, more convenience in market analysis!

Key details on how the archive works:

• Both local and cloud data archives now store only three key metrics - tick price, market price and candlestick close price. This speeds up history loading and reduces system load.
• Market data is hosted on a dedicated server that maintains an archive since June 2024. This allows traders to analyse price movements even if the terminal was only installed yesterday.
• Trade archives are now fully supported for Binance, ByBit and OKX.

Moontrader now offers greater flexibility, accuracy, control and convenience. New filters and signals help minimise false triggers and fine-tune algorithm management, while the optimised interface makes terminal operation more intuitive.

Here is the full list of updates:

New Maximum and Set Leverage filters have been added to the Active Market Filters menu within the algorithm settings.

• Added Price Delta in %, allowing users to analyse price changes within the algorithm.
• Profit Factor (PF) values above 100 are highlighted in green for easier algorithm performance evaluation.

It is now possible to create White Lists (WL) in the Core that have priority over Black Lists (BL). If you enable this option, the system will only work with assets from the white list, even if they are on the black list. This is particularly useful for algo trading on futures, as it speeds up information processing and gives more control over asset selection. In addition, the flexibility of customization now allows you to adapt the terminal to your strategy faster and more accurately.

We have redesigned the interface, updating the visual style, colour palette, fonts, settings menu structure and metric display on charts. Based on user feedback, we have replaced the default white background with a dark theme for greater comfort. The improved interface boosts system performance and ensures intuitive interaction. All of this will help new users to get used to the system faster and experienced traders to work even more productively.

Updated Blacklist settings: There is now an option to create a white list in the settings and exceptions can be added within this option.

In the core settings, a checkbox has been added to select a source in Market Live: tick or candlestick. The selected source will also be displayed in the bottom right corner of the open Market Live.

With the new data source we have added a new metric - Last Price, while removing excess noise by disabling Ask Price, Bid Price, Depth Mid and Trades Mid. This improves the clarity and readability of the charts. There are now four key metrics available to users:

Tick Price - The last trade price.

Mark Price - The average price of an asset across multiple exchanges.

Last Price (Candlestick price, K-Line) - The closing price of the last candlestick interval.

Liquidation Price - The forced liquidation price level.

User feedback is the basis of our product and we have optimized the system for even greater stability and convenience.

• Pre-market trading on ByBit is now available, allowing order placement before the coin is listed.
• In the Telegram Bot client settings, we have added a checkbox to enable or disable notifications by Order Time Window Range. If you don't want to receive notifications when the order protection is triggered, you can now disable this feature. Also added an option to enable or disable notifications from the new Alerts feature.

Attention! If you are using the Сustom Telegram Bot-Client and have more than one Core, please update the Bot-Client and all Cores to the latest version so that all features continue to work.

If you only use the standard "Telegram enabled" option, notifications will continue to work correctly regardless of whether all Cores are updated or only some of them.

• Localisation has been improved. The system language is now switched without reloading the terminal.
• Added spot and delivery markets to the Core Blacklist by default to reduce system load. BTCUSDT and BNBUSDT remained in the white list to avoid problems with calculations and BNB conversion.
• Refactored the Black List and optimized the Client, improving system performance.

This update also fixes important issues that you have identified and reported.

• Fixed Auto Stop operation: the error when the Base Line was not updated and the error of false triggering.
• Fixed a problem that could cause orders to hang and not be executed.
• Updated the structure of the export of trades data to CSV.
• Check for instant liquidation of Sell Orders.

Trading on Binance:

• Fixed phantom positions issue.
• The TRADE_LITE error has been handled after the Binance update and no longer appears in the logs.
• Fixed a bug that caused Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) orders not to be executed if their volume was below the minimum for the trade. Now they are correctly bought up to the minimum allowed volume (min notional) via BNFCR.

Trading on ByBit:

• Fixed issue with hanging orders on ByBit.
• Fixed a bug with Stop Loss placement due to insufficient volume in the stack to fill orders and added opening a reverse position.
• Fixed a bug with possible double liquidation from the exchange when trying to place Take Profit / Stop Loss.
• Fixed problem with partially filled positions on ByBit going into liquidation without Take Profit / Stop Loss.
• Refactoring of balances and frozen margin has been performed - now the data is displayed correctly.
• Fixed a bug with setting the maximum leverage.

Now Moontrader has become an even more accurate, flexible and convenient tool for efficient trading. New data source, improved algorithms, advanced filters and updated interface - all this expands the possibilities of users and gives impetus to further development of the terminal.
